I’m Naomi Kendagor, 3rd Generation Kendagor of the Late Reverend George Kendagor. I am privileged to be mentored by such a great man of God. I recall many times as a young girl that many scriptures were taught to me. One of my Grandfather’s anchors from the Bible is Psalms 37, Verses 25 and 26: I was young, and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging for bread. They are always generous and lend freely; their children will be a blessing.
This scripture would come up when we had no food and were hungry. We always had taken in so many orphans and abused and broken women in my home. They would come from very far away places looking for food and encouragement from God. We always took them in regardless of our resources. God had brought so many burdens and gave us many more blessings than burdens. Whenever he would tell us- this scripture was when we had nothing and were about to go without. All of a sudden, unexpected blessings and gifts would show up at exactly the right time. I want to extend the blessings to those in need and provide refuge/safety to grow and prosper! Plus, they can be a blessing to their peers! “Every Child deserves the goodness and mercy that will follow them every day of their life!”
